This is the development site for the MicroPress IMP project. MicroIMP is our new technical wordprocessor, designed to bring the quality of TeX typesetting to everyone, including those who are less than enthusiastic about programming TeX/LaTeX syntax and backslashes.

MicroIMP allows totally visual creation of LaTeX documents without knowning anything about LaTeX; it allows to output LaTeX, PS, and PDF, as well as printed copies. Among LaTeX features supported by MicroIMP are ligatures, TeX-style hyphenation, boxes, tables, lists, minipages, image inclusion, page layout, and, of course, mathematics. MicroIMP supports several font family settings, features a customizable keyboard, and spell.
